We are delighted to announce that the King’s College London and FEM IHRMA Academy programme “International HRM and the Global Corporation” will run this summer as an intensive, 3-day programme on 6-8 July 2011.  The course will have the same level of world class academic and practitioner focussed content as usual and will provide a unique opportunity for participants to draw on the knowledge and expertise of our faculty.  As part of this summer programme we will also be running several, additional networking sessions for academics, practitioners and industry experts to discuss and debate critical international people issues.

The programme, comprising of six workshops, will help participants think strategically about the management of people in global organisations and will cover in detail key workforces challenges including globalisation and the workforce, reward in an international context, globalising talent management, workforce risk, return on international HR investment and global mobility success factors.  Participants will also be able to utilize their learning through an international HR management project specifically undertaken for the benefit of their own organization.

The programme will take place on 6^th, 7^th and 8^th July 2011.  Participants who register before 31 May will be entitled to an ‘early-bird’ discounted rate of £3,250.

International Human Resources Management Academy early bird discount now available.

The course will run from March to September 2010 and will consist of six half day workshops (8am to 1pm) to be held at Kings College London. In addition, participants will be invited to submit an optional research project assignment (3000 words) on an IHR Management subject of their choosing.

The IHRMA will launch its first learning & development programme “International HRM and the Global Corporation” in March 2010. The programme will cover the following topics:

The Kings College London HRM Learning Board and The Forum for Expatriate Management are today proud to announce the formation of The International Human Resources Management Academy (IHRMA), developed specifically to help global organisations address these and other highly challenging international business issues.

The IHRMA aims to be the world’s premier body dedicated exclusively to the advancement of education and research in International HR Management. The IHRMA will have faculty drawn from leading academics around the world, senior representatives from The Forum for Expatriate Management and prominent industry figures within the International HR community.
